Not that they're better, but different flow rates can be had if needed.

Well, since it runs BETTER now. You can buy flow matched injectors for the 4.3, which is a plus, or you could bump up to the 350 injectors. Gonna dump more fuel.

If you dump more fuel better be sure the engine needs it.

if i get on it it bogs down bad until i let up some on the gas, then it takes off.now i had to replace some wiring that was toasted on the exhaust manifold.the fans were wired weird and theres a hose that hooks up to the tbi then goes to some small canisters i took off.damn im already hating computers and injection

Disconnect the egr and see if the bog goes away. EGR's on those are common to fail by opening TOO far, too early. Causes one heck of a bog. Also, check base timing.

Don't give up on computers. Pretty easy to find the problems with the right tools. And prices are WAYY down for what it takes to diagnose problems.

The tool list? 12V test lamp. DVOM. Fuel pressure tester. Timing light. Scanner.

I'd say $300 would easily cover that shopping list for basic home type stuff.

You'd make it back once you learned how to use it. ;)

I'm saying unhook it and see if the problem goes away. That would be a good indicator of an egr opening too far too soon.

Yes, the egr can be eliminated. Do a site search for "egr". Be prepared for an hour or so of reading up on egr's and what they do and how to get around it.

I'd say half of us have it eliminated and the other half have it restricted.

i found my problem with the engine bogging down.when i fill the gas tank it does it.i took the car out today and burned off some gas and it ran great!so it must be plugging the vent?

That wouldn't make much sense. Now, if you had some bad gas, then filled the tank with good gas, that would make sense.

i agree, but it happens when i fill the tank.when i burn some off it runs fine, the only thing i can think is the vent fills up too
