No sound from left side speakers...

I have a Sony Explode. When playing CD's I have clear sound from all 4 speakers. When tuning into a station, the sound only comes from the 2 right speakers and is VERY quiet. I have to pump the volume up all of the way in order to hear anything. I'm going to pick up a new wiring harness and replace the exisiting. Hopefully it's just bad wires.

Any thoughts on what could be the problem??

Probably not the harness if you have sound on all speakers
when using a cd.

I dont have a sony, but I have a pioneer HU, & there are separate
settings for cd vol. and tuning volume (so you can set them to the same
level when you switch between both), As well as differnt tunning settings
like local tuning,etc.

I'd ask sony about it, or see waht it says in the manual

The manual doesn't really help with the trouble shooting. It only goes over the obvious cause/explanations. I did flip thru the manual and tried different audio settings. None of it seemed to make a difference.
Perhaps the antennae isn't connected properly. It's the only other thing I can think of. I'll take it apart tomorrow after work and screw with it some more. :mad:

make sure that the antenna adapter is pllugged in all the way
