finally did it

Well guys i finally did the blow through in my truck i dont have any pictures yet but i will post some tomorrow. Its 2 12 in alpine Type R's in a custom box with logos and strobes smoked plexi glass run of my little 25 watt cheater amp.
25 watts by 4 at 4 ohm and all the way down to 2500 by 1 at 1 ohm

Yea thats what I'm going for crazy loud.. Back in the day when I had my topper on my truck I had 4 15s in the bed and 4 10s behind the seat it was killer.. But I lost like 2 clicks and being 6'3" don't feel good losing clicks.

How yea it looks good now get some trim and trim it out and it will be pimp.. what are you going to cover the box with and is there a peice of plex behind the design?

it does go all the way around the top that stupid ass little shelf they they have to mount the trim piece back there is y you cant see the boot and yes that is a piece of smoke plexi back there with stobes inside it. I plan on making a whole new back half of the cab basically

Its going to be pimp.. Just keep us updated with pics.. Mine is going to be a lil bit harder then yours to do due to I'm body dropping the bed so that my notch and everything is hidden so I will have to make a drop down for the box and ****..

Well yea mine will be a whole weekend job.. But with a plasma and a welder shouldn't take to long..

plasma doesnt always work we tried that too. ended up with a jig saw and alot of blades

it would have worked but i didnt want the sparks going all over the air lines and gas tank. But we only set the truck on fire once.

It looks pretty damn cool at night with the strobes behind the smoked plexi. IT is loud too, very very loud.

I would say off the top of my head it pushes a mid to high 160, your thought aaron?

I HIGHLY doubt that. 160 is a big number in the DB world.. I would say like the 145-152 or so with what he has in there. I hit a 158.7 with 4 15s and 4 10s in my S10 with my topper back in the day.
