Oh crap! I went to remove my battey termials because they started to arode and I was going to clean them. And what happens, the postive breaks off IN the battey.
Soo I need a new battey. I'm going to get a Optima, should I get a red top or a deep cycle yellow top. I have a stock sound system (and I'm keeping it stock) but I do have a MSD 6a, E-fan, and underdrive pulleys (crank and alt.)

yeah, if you don't have any more of an upgrade of a sound system as far as a deck and door/dash speakers, go with a red top. if you have a system run just the system off the yellow top

Well if you are all stock then go with a red. They are around 130 bucks or something. However, if you want to have a better battery then go for the yellow top... Depending on where you buy it from you can get a yellow top for about the same price if you shop around. I think I picked my yellow top up for 140. I would honestly go with the yellow if you can find one for a good price. I had a D34/78 yellow top.

Red is fine. Yellow is good if you've got a big sound system.

what is the better choice for running a mild stereo and a compressor for air ride?

I would get the yellow just for the load a E fan puts on the system.Especially if it's a Taurus fan because they pull crazy amps on a system. But a red would do fine.
