starting problem

I have a 94 TBI4.3lL and lately i have been having trouble getting it to crank over. like when i turn the key sometimes it sounds like its goin to crank then it just stalls... but if i wait a few secs then try agin it will but i have to crank longer than normal.......what could it be?

Starter solenoid,weak battery,fried purple wire to the solenoid,bad connections.
