Remote Program #250
Important: Before entering programming mode, have in possession all of the transmitters you will be using on the vehicle. Once you program the transmitter, all previous codes will be erased from the memory. The other transmitters will not be functional untill you program them again.

1. Close all vehicle doors.
2. Insert Key into the ignition
3. Hold the power UNLOCK button on the driver'sdoor pane - continue to hold until instruced to release.
4. Perform steps 5 through 8 in a fairly rapid succession.
5. Turn the ignition to the ON postion (DO NOT CRANK)
6. Turn ignition OFF.
7. Turn ignition ON.
8 Turn ignition OFF.
9. Release the poser unlock button. The vehicle will lock and unlock the doors automatically.
10. Hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the transmitter simultaneously until the door locks and unlocks. This may take up to 30 seconds.
11. Repeat the previous steps for each additional transmitter.
12. Turn the ignition to the ON position to exit the transmitter programming mode.

Can I get a flob off e bay and program it to my truck this way. The one I have is wore out.

Yes you can program second-hand fobs this way but make sure you get one for this year of vehicle. The programming instructions change periodically over the years. What year are these instructions for?

i just noticed on the inside of my key fob that when u replace the battery, u need to hold down the lock and unlock buttons. i dont know if u hafta do this before u start the programming process because my car is like 900+ miles from me. damn navy
