man I would be pissed if I had to drive that neon to instead of that clean ZR2. But lookin at the damage its really not that bad. They will put it on a frame straightener to pull out the floor board and get that straight. The frame doesn't "appear" to be that bad from the pics. New door. And on the front end did it just snap the tierod and balljoint or is it more then that?

Well it doesn't look too bad...new door and hood, replace balljoints and tierods, as long as the frame is good it's worth getting it fixed. How bads her Mustang?

The good news is they are going to fix the ZR2 :worshippy final price is just under $14,000 to fix.. the thing that saved it from total is the frame. the 4x4 frame on this thing has a 1/4 " plate that starts from the front of the truck to the back of the transmission. NO BEND!! :D thank god.
they would not let me get pic's of her car :( sorry i would have loved to put them up. her car is over 2' shorter than it was the motor is now where the dash used to be :D
still pissed but all in all i'm in a much better mood about it now.
as you can guess her car is a total (and it makes me happy)
she was drinking (she just turned 21) and was going 60 when she ran the light, never hit her brakes.
as for the damage you cant see....
the lower control arm and ball joint are snapped.... front hub (4x4 hub) need to be replaced, center console is to be replaced (pushed the passenger seat into it) the rear panel on the passenger side is to be replaced also not a fix :D $$$
all said and done it will look like new again and i will post after pics when it is, maybe by then we will have a thread for fixed rides ;)

I know that she was at fault, but I hope her insurance like, you know pays for all of it, cause you know how they are, they are going to try to give you a run around, good luck brother

No Chevybowtie i have never posted on any other site about it, this would be the only forum i post on for anything.
Yea MrMidnight i know how they can be but i live in Michigan.... it's called no-fault insurance, for anyone that don't know what that is..... well it's ****, the way it works is this... no matter who was at fault for the accident your own insurance covers your own car and nothing more unless it's personal property damage such as a mail box or a lawn.... something stupid like that. it really is a crappy deal

That sucks about the no fault insurance. Glad they are gonna fix it. Hope she gets her DL revoked. I got hit by a drunk once, but it just banged up my door and knocked the front end out of alignment.
