The freeze plug behind my power steering pump took a dive this morning, this may sound crazy but I can't seem to see how the pump and bracket that holds it comes off, any help would be great because I need to get it running before work tommorow. 95 4.3 vortec 4x4 Blazer Thanks in advance!

you need to remove the pulley from the pump with a puller to get to all the bolts to remove the bracket

Well it goes from bad to worse, I pulled the power steering pump but that's not the freeze plug thats leaking after all, I have alot of water coming from the driver side motor mount, I'm crossing my fingers that it is the freeze plug under the mount and not something more involved like a head gasket or worse a cracked block, but back to my problem, with 4x4 this thing is imposible to even see without removing the exhaust manifold and motor mount ANYONE ELSE BEEN THROUGH THIS? DRIVERS SIDE LEAK VERY BAD the water pours out as fast as you pour it in .

Well, that deal goes like this. You got a rusty freeze plug behind the mount. But guess what kinda' shape the rest of 'em are in? Yup, you got it.

While you're on that side, go ahead and replace all 3 of 'em (1 front, 2 side). You'll be going to the other side next. Depending on how you're doing it, I'd consider doing all 6 at once.

There's 2 at the rear of the block, but they're a bit higher and generally don't cause the problems the side and front expansion plugs do.

That's the crazy thing about it, I can see the front one now and it's not rusty and looking in the fenderwell I can see the one on the side beside the motormount and it's not rusty but I have rusty water stains below the motormount like that one has been leaking for a while, also I can see 2 of the ones on the passenger side and they look clean and dry, I don't mind doing the labor myself but if I had to take it to the stealership this "good deal" would not be looking so good right now lol.

It could be rust in a part that you cain't see

They rust from the inside out. You don't see the rust 'til it's too late.
