TBI sensor Q's

I have a question for you all, I just finished up replacing a bad lifter on my 4.3, Now i am getting too much fuel, I have a check engine light on, I checked the TP sensor and i was wondering if it wasmaybee the IAC valve? would that make the trottle body flood the engine and cause it to Die? Any help would be great

Too tight on the lifter or the lifter being "pumped up" could cause a cylinder miss. It'll kill the vacuum and the MAP sensor reading will result in a very rich condition.

I got the cylender to fire and the Valve is adjusted OK, But i will take a look at it again and see if that is what is going on.
