This is the scoop, I recently bought and installed Sony F5710 head unit. I am currently finishing putting in my two kicker l7s and boss 3000 watt ripper amp. But I can not decide on what to do for my door and dash speakers because after listening to so many different brands at a local audio store every thing is starting to sound the same. So I would be nice if some one could point me in the right direction to some high quality speakers that can play at loud levels with a very low level of distortion, I would really appreciate it. Ill post some pics of subs and amp when finished.

Not sure if this help but i have Pinoneer 4ways, 240w in the
rear and 100w in the front it's very clear and undistorted, like ear piercing
with the highs & such. If I have music say the "live" version of a song it
sounds like Im there in concert.

Some people dont like pioneer's stuff but its been good for me.
Im not expert on audio stuff though, just goin by what I have.
Its not all just the speaker either. Depends on what the equalizer
is set to, and the audio quality (burned cd?).

I have used numerous speakers, mostly coax and components. I guess I would turn down the gain on that amp so you dont throw distortion into those speaks.
Then I guess I would look into Kicker 6.5 components, or diamond audio components, or Blau has a component set. Look for lower db for the rms, that way when you do turn it up the speaks should be able to handle more juice.

Right now I am using Mb quart 4" component in the dash, which I love.
In the front door I am using Diamond audio m3's 6.5" components which I love.
In the rear door I am using Mb quart ref 6.5 components, again which I love.

Eclipse
Alpine I have also owned and, you guessed it; I loved them both

If you want to go all out get a set of focal speaks.
Theres a saying that you could take heed: Distortion kills, not power.
With clean power any one of these should float your boat.
Have a good one.

I worked at a car audio shop and had a chance to hear many of the speakers head to head on numerous occasions, with all different types of music. The best bang for your buck speakers are memphis speakers. They are incredibly clean way past the point where we would get incredible distortion with the mtx's and rockfords. That is what is going in my truck when it gets to that point.

It all depends on what you want to spend.. I mean if you want just decent for lil money then your going to get what you pay for. And if you can go to more then one stereo shop it will help out a lot. Due to no display room is made equal and will always sound different at different shops. What I run is Infinity plates in the dash and soon to be running Focals in the doors. But I would say your best choices would be Focal, Infinity, MB Quart, Polk Audio, Cliff Designs, JL Audio, or Diamond Audio... Check out www.onlinecarstereo.com (http://www.onlinecarstereo.com) to look around some. And like said before destorsion is done by the owner not the speaker they all have limits. And thats what blows speakers.

Memphis are nice, but try to find a shop that sells Diamond audio. They get loud, real friggin loud and sound hella nice, even when cranked up!

I'm about to get these I think.
Product specs page. I'm really looking at the Model # D661i It's an integrated component set. (http://www.diamondaudio.com/products/index.cfm?page=productList&type=29&line=2&model=)

the trick to speakers is that if you want high sounds, you need to get something with a higher amp and it should have like a mini speaker infront of the big speaker, the bigger that little speaker is, the higher pitch the speaker can put out. The big speaker in the back is for low end sounds, bass, the bigger the badder basically, however what causes the vibrations n rattling sound is when these 2 are right on top of eachother, so the best speakers are speakers that have 2 seperate speakers in one housing, not touching or overlapping eachother whatsoever, great for rock music country and the kind of rap you hear on mtv, not the kind like twista or ying yang twins. (ying yang twins blow out speakers lmao) i prefer luxury sounding compared to the 15 year old nothing but bass cars, so annoying.

Are talking about integrated and non-integrated component speakers???
I want a nice tight sound rather than something that just rattles windows as well. I prefer the audiophile setups than just plain freaking loud.

Thanks fo the advice. I think I am going to go with a Infinity or Kicker component set up. Badco why get a component set up with the tweater over the mid, wouldnt that distort the tweater defeating the purpose of a component setup?

It doesn't really. Sometimes the component tweeters can be a tad bit shrill. I didn't hear a difference between the the integrated and non setups they had set up.
I'm still debating on it. My choice isn't set in stone yet.

I made my choice and will be installing this weekend. I got a component set from Diamond. I got the D661s. I ALMOST got a swank trade on a set of HEX for some computer hardware I had laying around. Too bad it didn't work out.
