Details:
Recent Projects:
~~Installed Fabtech 4" Spindle/Add-a-leaf Kit
~~Replaced Steering System Complete
~~Swapped/Stripped Interior:
*changed to bucket seats
*swapped in a grey blazer interior
*installed an Alpine Stereo (during interior swap, as dashboard and air ducts needed modification to fit this DIN size.)
~~Rebuilt 700-R4 Tranny:
*Added Cooler and Filter
~~Re-Built Factory Diff+bearing upgrade
~~Added Lift Shackles to Level Ride and Improve Handling
~~Made a Cool-Air Intake:
*91 Cadillac Air Housing plus Parts Store Goodies
-improved mileage by 3mpg!!(Hey gas isn't cheap in California!)
~~Installed H-3 Headlight Conversion Kit
*Learned the Hard way "Don't" use 65/85 O/R bulbs without upgrading the wiring, as it'll melt down due to the higher current/amp draw.
~~Completely went through and refurbished or replaced the wiring.
*replaced defective ECM, ECMB, Fuel Pump due to it all getting fried when the fuel pump overloaded, should've replaced it complete instead of just a partial repair.
~~Getting Ready For:
*Bed Side Braces
-bedsides at floor in tailgate area flexing and cracking due to torsional stress/fatigue.
-body and paint work(gotta strip off the phosphate crap the factory used, yep, I missed the "recall".)
*Possible Shortening(Bobbing) of Bed Length to give better angle of attack clearance.
