Hello, I'm new here and I have just purchased a 1991 Blazer S10.

There are few problems with it but my main concern right now is the seat. The front left corner of the driver side seat has a broken bracket so when you drive its like sitting in a rocking chair. It seems like an easy fix, but I am having trouble locating this part. Some direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help!

Hmm...no replies yet.

Let me rephrase. I know I can locate the part at the dealer, but was wondering if there is a cheaper place to buy OEM parts online. Thanks for the help.

Unless you're totally in love with that seat and want to fix it - not replace it try www.car-part.com
It's a national listing of vehicle recycling yards. It has a very easy drop down menu to help you find the parts you're looking for, although in your case you'd most likely look to replace the seat. Most all the listings have the price listed right next to it and the phone # of the place that has it so you can call them up and find out it's exact condition. You can sort results by how close they are to you, cost, the year of the vehicle the part is coming out of ect.
Many of us have used that site with great (and very inexpensive) results! Go give it a shot you may just be pleasantly surprised -

Thanks for the help guys! I have been advised to weld it, but I have no idea how much that would run, and I'm no welder.

I will most certainly check out car-parts. Thanks for the help. If nothing else I may have to take it somewhere to get it welded.
