4 banger duals

I was wondering if I was going to put duals on my 01 Noma would a Flow master 1 in 2 out be a good choice? and what size should i get i seen on ebay some are 2.25" and others 3". Does it make a difference? and is there a better muffler out there that would give me a good sound and still be dual? Im lookin for all opinions just want to sound good and look good too.

Also another idea just thinking up stuff does it make a difference if i get a flow master 40 1 in 2 out or if i get a 1 in 1 out and put a y on it?

Are you looking for hp and tq gains or just sound? If it were me I would go with the single in and the dual out, makes things a little easier, and I think it would sound better.

I got duals on my 2.2 its a 12 inch glasspack with a Y right after it...its pretty loud and pops and cracks like h3ll!......its great.....expecially after it gets broke in

when you say it pops and cracks do you mean it sounds like it is sputtering or do you mean it sounds like it is ready to take off? Cause I dont want it to sound like it is going to backfire and die out. lol!!!

I also have 4X18" tips it will sound different with other sizes what i mean by that is when you let off of the gas it goes blop blop blop blop blop blop sometimes a pop accasionally it will but if it dont do either it will sound kinda like a jake brake with out the poppin and a hell of alot deeper tone...the huge ass tips dont make it sound as much as a bumble bee.....real nice deep tone....my g/f says if she outside she can hear me pull onto the road i live on and thats 2 miles from where i turn in to the house but im also out in the country and i have a cat....dont take it off it will sound great between 1000rpm's-2500rpms but after that its QUIET with the cat its louder at higher rpm's its really loud at 3000rpm's...i love it but i wish it could be the same just louder at higher rpm's

Yea i left it on it sounded like crap without it might not on a 4.3 it does on a 2.2.I got mine from the muffler shop but summit carries 2
