Hey, I'm putting together a powerpoint for my command on traffic safety and i need some references and some good stuff to put in about cold weather and tires. I can put in the simple stuff, but that would make my powerpoint 3 slides long, Title, Fact, Closing. Need some more stuff, can ya'll help?

well tire chains, maybe something about "tire contact patch" i remember when i went to court the judge making a big deal out of that, and how little tire controls a vehicle.

Tires are less plyable when cold, won't grip as well. For this reason, some tire companies are now selling cold-weather tires. I don't know if that's valid or just a way to lighten our wallets. Put something in there about taking your chrome or polished wheels off and going back to the stock rims for the winter :-). Does your cold-temp discussion include the weather often associated with it, like rain and snow? Talk about having adequate grooves in the tires to channel water (not running bald tires in the rain) etc.
