i am getting ready to put a 99 5.7 in my 96 and was wondering if anyone had any sugestions on cams for the computer controled 5.7 that will help make good power

I kind of like the specs on these for an n/a application. They are mild, but should have good manners for a daily, and ok fuel economy. Deffinately call the camshaft manufacturers though first. Both of these are from crane.

EDIT: what '99 5.7 is it? The ls1, or the truck motor? I assumed it was the gen I small block truck motor.

yes it is the truck motor
