Hey another new guy here . Hey Tinman your not old I'm 49 the big 5"O" is barreling down on me like a freight train, thats why I'm dropping a V8 in my truck so I can maybe out run it..AHH..YA..On my 3rd s-series now (98 noma zq8 dark green stepside),(02 Chev ZR2 indigo blue) bought the noma used, changed jobs started commuting needed 4x4 traded it for the ZR2 got laid off had to sell it allmost cried. So a year later I find this sweet 91 shortbed satin black droped on 245/16's 2.8 w/5spd was gona drive it for the winter "right" now it's become a full blown frame off resto just scored a 05 5.3 vortec with only 10 mi.I'm working on a 94 frame been in storage since new only 30 mi, my frame's mint I just hate sandblasting. The cab will be going on the rotisserie next week and I'm looking for a T56 .I'll post some pics soon as there's something worth looking at... ttyl

From one old fart to another... welcome to the Planet! I turned 51 last fall, but I get along with all of these youngsters just fine. We have a common bond.
Sounds like you have a heck of a project going there.

I'm another new guy on the block. However, the rest of you oldies are quite young. I am a young 61 but act 30. I have a '94 S10 Blazer Tahoe LT and a 98 S10 Blazer LS. I gave my daughter my S10 96 Blazer LS with 200k on it and it still purrs like a kitten. The 1996 S10 Blazer has never had any parts its exhaust system replaced since manufacture. I never cease to be amazed by it. The S10 Blazer is one of the most underrated SUVs on the market. They are nice looking and are the right size, have a good engine with the 4.3 Vortec, decent fuel economy, and the 4 wheel drive has never let me down. I really like the solid truck like frame that the Blazer has and am sorry they stopped making them in 2005.
Go Blazer! I really like this web site and plan as a member to access it often.

That motor looks bad ass.. And thats a nice 04-05 R1 not sure of the year but I can tell by the taillight its one of the two. Buddy of mine has one pretty much just like it. Smokes my Gixxer 750 all the time but I know I can't hang with the R1
Welcome to the site guys. I dont know who has been recruiting members at bingo nights at the local VFW, but thanks! All kidding aside, welcome to the site guys, hope you stick around and share what you know with us, and hopefully we can help you guys out some too.

Yup it's an 04 and it does rip and is for sale it's gona kill me to part with it but it's also the main reason why I'm V8'n my dime the little v6 just didn't cut the mustard with my other vehic's being an R1 and a turbo Jetta once the dime is done maybe I'll pick up a wrecked R1 and mod the crap out of it ...I just can't grow up

Not alot of mods it goes damn good stock ,one down front sprocket, two up rear ,new pilot power's,I had the supension prof dialed in and added the Michelon's what a difference like night and day.I had na 02 that was heavily modified and this one out performs it ,the rest of the mods are minor cosmetic,Heli Bars w/Harris grips red lcd's in the dash factory seat cowl and of course the Micron scorched Ti slipon's I was going to PC it but i started the s10 project I'm asking $8500 a friend works at the local Yam dealer they just sold the same bike last week with no mods for $9500 if any one is interested I can arrange delivery. I just took it out today for a rip then I brought it in and detailed it...DANG...I kinda hope it doesn't sell I freakin love this bike.....
