On a 3000 lb. vehicle that hooks good, a bit over 400 hp to the wheels for a high 10. That's the Monte.

i wish i knew! still got that last hundredth to go. ive got a 12:1 383, solid roller, brodix track 1's, and super victor. should be in the 10.7 range with a good tranny and converter.

Interesting. The Monte is a 13-1 383 with a flat tappet and Canfield heads. Intake is a Bowtie w/850 Holley HP. I'm thinking it's gonna go 10.7 w/4.11 gears, 29.5 M/T slicks, P/G and 4000 stall.

I'll know this Saturday.

not quite 10.7 yet. 11.01. ive got a 3k converter thats a little too tight for the cam and my piece of poo tranny that cant make up its valve body on when to shift. i dont think ive been able to make a pass without hitting the rev limiter. 4800 converter and a solid tranny should make good for a couple of tenths. hopefully we'll see soon.
