well i did it,went and had new exhaust installed.went to 3in got rid of the cat and used a flowmaster.oh boy did that engine wakeup,it was 15/8 in exhaust it breathes alot gooder

well i found something i dont like about my new exhaust,when i get on it reel hard,it resonates bad.sounds like rocks ina tincan.anybody got any suggestions?oh yes,i whupped a mustang lastnight not sure what he had for a motor but i got him.he took me off the line and that was all.

what kind of truck? i am in the new exhaust market...not sure if i just go with high flow cat 2.5" with flowmaster 40

Throw in a real small glass pack to act as a resonator.Unlike the resonator the glasspack won't hurt the flow as much.

Yeah any time you remove your cat on any vehicle you'll get more of a raspy/resonant sound.
