Gingerman Raceway
Thursday May 4th
http://www.gingermanraceway.com/ (http://www.gingermanraceway.com/)
Alright everyone here is the deal, A freind of mine who is the VP of the Taurus Car club of america, has allowed me to invite some of the people in the s10 forums and s10 community in general to join his car club on May 4th where they have the track rented for there use only for the entire day. I made this same offer on S10forum.com but i don't seem to have many people interested.
This is a non compeditive event, this is so you can bring out your truck and see how it does on a road coarse, how it handles, what kinda speeds, and of coarse have some fun meet some new people. So were looking for responsible people with reliable, safe trucks or cars that are able to be taken on a road coarse. This doesn't mean you need some high hp truck, if you want you can bring out a bone stock 4cyl s10 and run it.
20 people - $165
30 people - $120
$65 deposit due by Feb 28th
Remainder due April 21st, which will be the cutoff date to determine if the rate will be for 20 or 30 people.
The other thing to keep in mine is the event is on rain or shine, once your deposit is in the event goes on regaurdless of weather.
The event will be broken down as 3 classes (novie, intermediate, and advanced) There will be driving instructors there that will take you out on the track or ride with you if you wish or depending on which class you sign up with.
Also there will be a tech inspection on the vehicles to make sure that they are safe to be taken onto a road coarse, things such as working brakes, belts in good shape, tires aren't bald, etc general saftey items.
There will be everything from stock tauruses in all years to supercharged 450WHP SHO's, lightings, mustangs, subaru's Should be a good time.
I am not incharge of or cordinating this event, however if you are interested or have any questions please contact me either by posting on this thread or sending me a message at brock(at)accuson.net (brock@accuson.net). When it comes to payment you will be sent directly to Jason who is cordinating the event with the Taurus car club.
