I was thinking of porting my 1993 4.3 cpi intake manifold the throttle body and intake runners ... what do yall think..
I think that unless you have experience, its something you oughta stay away from. For the work, many other mods can be done to give more power. We have a 12 sec CPI blazer on here, and Im almost positive he hasnt done any port work on the CPI unit

Nope, none at all. Although the upper intake mods are listed in the "Free ET" article.

GOOD head port work can make a substantial difference in power if done right. But if done wrong can have a bad effect instead. You might do just a gasket match and clean up the ports to gain a few more ponies. And I am sure you could find a place to bore the throttle body out.Just look around and you might get lucky.
