bad ending to weekend chase

i just got in an accident with my truck this weekend. i was getting chased on icy road by 3 people and one tried to get in front of my and make me stop, he slammed on his brakes and i went right in the back of him. lucky for my he has to pay for it.

I was thinkin the samething... I would whoop someones ass if they were chasin me and screwed up my truck.

How did you get them to pay if you rear-ended them? Usually its the guy that does the hitting that has to pay.

wow, that really sucks...good for you he's paying. look at the bright side, you get new front panels and paint. and he has a bashed up rearend that i'm guessing isn't gonna get fixed cuz he probably just had liability.

yeah he had to pay for it b/c he admitted stopping in front of me, but the bad news is that they totaled the truck b/c the frame was bent. they wouldnt let me keep it sooo yeah. i could of fixed it with about $2000 max w/ paint and aftermarket hood and headlights. lol well yeah prolly wont be back here unless i find a new s dime.

How can they tell you that you can't buy your truck back?

Because your frame is bent is no reason that a vehicle MUST be totaled. it is possible to get that fixed, its called a frame bender. sometimes its not worth getting done.
