In about 3 weeks, I'm putting in my carbed 4.3L. Right now there is a carbed 2.8L computer controlled. I got my HEI distributor, intake manifold and carb...now I just need to prepare the underhood part of the deal. What wires can I get rid of?? What wires do I need? I'm trying to hide and get rid of most wires. I have money saved to get new exhaust then. What is the length difference between the tranny thats behind the 2.8L and a 2004R? Am I gonna need to get my driveshaft shorter or longer? About how much will that cost?
I have about 500 bucks saved...my exhaust is gonna cost around 200. What else sohuld I expect? Sparky do you have a wire diagram for a 1st gen blazer that you could tell me which wires stay and which go?
Oh and from start to finish, the most time this can take is 9 days. But once I know what I'm doing about the wires and stuff, it should be a breeze.
Last thing, my blazer is lowered 3/4 but it sits level, will the 4.3L drop down the front a little more hopefully??
