Here's the deal. Crackhead needed his car fixed. I wound up with 2 JL Audio 12W0-4's and an Alpine Mono power amp MRP-M350.
I have no use for the JL's. What I'm wondering is if the Alpine can power my 2 Sony Xplode 6x9's. One guy says bridge 'em series, another says bridge 'em parallel, another says it won't work. I figure you guys know the right answer.
Also, what are the JL's worth?
Or is this a case of "You can't get there from here"?

Well the mono block means it should only have one channel. So I wouldn't recommend running it to your 6X9s because then you would lose part of your stage cuz there will be no left to right at all. It would kinda play both speakers loud and there wouldn't be a fade left to right if called for it. You can do it. just hook them both up to the amp. And as for the price for the subs. A brand new 12W1 (took place of the W0) goes for about 120 here. So since those are used and in a box I would say you would get around 150-200 for them. Unless you can find a young kid that just wants bump in there trunk and you might get a lil more. I say sell it all and get you a nice lil amp. Check out this site they got great deals. www.onlinecarstereo.com

Yup, that amp is for subs only. Sell the set-up and buy a stereo amp for your 6x9's. If you're smart you'll get a good 4 channel amp so that your fronts are amp'd the same as your rears for good balance.

Okay, that's the plan then. Ran into something else. The Safari has 6x9's in the front. I replaced the 3" rounds with 3x5's and it also has 6" rounds in the back. The 3x5's are on the rear pillars. The stereo is a Panasonic DF44 40Wx4.
Here's what I'm thinking. I already have the Sony Xplode 3x5 and 6x9's. Buy a set of 6" rounds for the rear doors, get a 4 channel amp and let it power the 3x5's and 6" rounds. The stereo should be plenty for the 6x9's up front?
Also, recommendation on an amp and how to wire it?
How much is the Alpine amp worth? Oh yeah, no box for the subs.

if they are in good shape you could probably get 200-250 or so depends on the person

I would power the front speakers off the amp to make your front stage sound better then power whatever is right behind you with the amp to help the stage for the people behind you. Run the 3X5s on the deck since they don't need much power.
