Alrught i have been fighting performance out of a 4.3l(not for me) Ended up blowing my motor again. Dad said i can;t go back with a v6 so he gave me a jasper 305. And agreed to pay for half the swap. Now he has done it on his other three s10's. But on older models, now my question is from a 4.3ltbi >>>> 305TBI. Where can i find adapter plates for 4.3l to v8, headers(would like to buy as kit) for cheap. Now, can i use the rearend relocation blocks??
I need the cheapest way out, and need in about one- two weeks need truck for school and school carshow??
Thank for all you guys help. And to all the other v8 dimes i would like to say WHATS UP.LOL

jegs has heddman headders for 140 dollars. As far as motor mounts, get em from www.v8s10.com
TO go from 4.3 to 305 you will need diff. injectors and a diff. computer.

Glad to help :)
By the way, T Man- you can use 4.3 injectors on a TBI 305 with no problem, they flow more fuel than the 305 injectors. You would need an ECM from a TBI 305 vehicle however.
I know they flow my fuel. WIthout the need though, there is a good chance you will run into a rich condition, clog o2's and the cat.

Many folks run a Holley TBI on their 4.3. It flows 5 more pph than stock (50 vs 45), and there have been no reports of problems I know of. OBD1 is smart enough to adjust the fuel map to deal with extra fuel. They will run fine.

The computer is actually the same. What's needed is the correct PROM.
