I never had this problem before until i changed my radiator. the radiator had a crack in it so i changed it out. no since i have done that every time i turn on a/c the truck starts to over heat? did i do something wrong when changing it out? i dont see the water pump leaking or anything like that to say that its bad but my truck is a 2000 2.2L with 180,000 miles on it and i have never changed out the water pump. think i should ?

did you put the thermostat in the right way? If not thats probably your problem. Most likely I would say that you have got a large air pocket somewhere in the cooling system.

Replace the clutch fan with a Taurus E fan and you won't have any problems of over heating or the air blowing warmer air at stop lights. If the clutch fan is the problem only.

thanks guys so much, but i have a question again. how do i flush out the airpocket in the coolant line? i want to check that first. then i will replace the thermostat. if that doesnt work i will go for the fan. i have been wantting one ............. this will give me the accuse to buy one.

let it run with the radiator cap off till the thermostat opens, recheck fluid. you will lose some coolant during this.(will overflow on the ground), that is caused by the "Burping"
