I have a '95 GMC Sonoma S-15 4x4 w/ a 4.3L V6 With Edelbrock headers, K&N intake, and 3' exhaust all the way back. I am looking for a good suspension lift for it and was wondering if anyone recommeneded a certain brand or anything else.
How Tall are you looking to go? I've heard the best things about the 5" BDS and Superlift kits.

Is 5" too high?
I don't think so... you could probably easily fit 33s. I think it is a nice amount of lift for a pickup. The BDS kits are really nice, you can check them out here: http://www.bds-suspension.com/suspensionsystems_15chevygmc.html
The Superlift is also really good, you can see more about that one here: http://www.superlift.com/suspension/gm/83-S10.asp
The biggest drawback on these two is price. They both run for over $1,500... If you want cheaper, the easiest way to go is a body lift, shackles and a torsion bar tweak.

It already has the ZR2 suspension on it. Would highway use be effected if I lifted it 5". I still want it to drive good on road.
Highway will be affected by tires. When you lift 5 inches and put 33's on there, make sure you are ready to buy some new cv shafts. 33's are afuly hard on em.
Larger tires result in lower rpms on the highway, so that isn't a bad thing.
The BDS and Superlift 5-6" lifts drop the front diff and provide new upper control arms which help to maintain factory CV angles... If you plan to wheel it hard, then you will probably see some premature CV joint failure.
I see....ya learn something new everyday
I lifted mine with a Fabtech 3' coils/a-arm, 3.5" spindle and 2" body and I'm running 31's. I had to re-gear mine because it was geared to high. I had to down shift to make it p small hills on the freeway! I went form the stock 3.08 to 3.73's. It made a huge difference in stop and go and Freeway driving.
