I would like to replace my steering gear box with a zq8 box. My truck is a 91 sonoma. What year box and part # do I get. Thanks for any and all help.

Not all TAs and Z28s had the 12:1 box. Youre looking for one that had originally 16" wheels. Some modelas with 15s had the box, but they are fewer. And its easier to get one from a car you can.
If you find an S10, look in the glovebox for ZQ8 on the RPO or a sticker on the front of the box (the rounded endcap) that says YJ and has a yellow paint marking.
