I need a new alternator and I was wondering what brand is the best to get. I also want to put under drive pulleys on it. What brand of pulleys is good to get?
I had the march power and amp pulleys, i liked them. Didn't have any charging issues or anything.

i got asp pulleys the 2 pulley set no charging issues but i dont have any subs or anything like that...lights get a little dim at night when sitting at stop lights but nothing major
I got the asp's and have the same problem....the problem with our asp kits is the alternator pulley is larger than the stock one so you can use your stock belt. To remedy this problem put your stock alt pulley back on and get a 1-2" shorter belt

nah it dosent bother me i kinda knew this was gonna happen so im gonna leave it the way it is.. and i didnt use the stock belt had to get a different one. as far as the stock pulley it was about toast had big ass nick in it...
I couldn't get my Alt pulley off. The nut was too tight and when I used a star tool to hold the center, the wrench didn't have bit on the nut.
How did you remover yours??

Take the alternator to a shop and have them zip it off with an impact wrench. It will take them 2 seconds, and they will probably do it for free.
I stuck a screwdriver through the case and onto the armature on mine (dont do this unless you know what you are doing!!!!!!!)
