Jegs 2.5" V8 dual exhaust

Has anyone used or heard anything about the V8 S10 2.5"dual exhaust system Jegs has ? I'm kinda curious how it fits,quality,etc

For your app. (5.3l correct?) I dont think it would be the best...I think your best bet would be to go to a local muffler shop and have them bend you one up. You get an exhaust custom taylored to your specs for not much if any more than that kit would be after shipping.

So T Man why do you say that ? 2.5 to restrictive or just cheaply made ?I know no muffler shop around here that will build a system for $230 heck the last shop I went to wanted $500 to 600 to build a system for the 2.8 and that was a single pipe cat back.I was figuring the JTR headers for 330 and the jegs pipes for 230, plus cats and 02's, would get me up and running for awhile then maybe go with stainless next year

Wow....thats incredibly high. I got my exhaust (2.5" from the y pipe back dumping infront of the rear tire for 80. Hrmmm.......

That is high. Once the headers and collectors are on, excluding muffler cost, it oughtta be $150-300.

A friend got the Jegs exhaust for his 5.4 F150 Crew recently. On that motor it was very mellow sounding. He was pleased with the quality and fitment and price.

Thanks just the info I needed. The price is definitely good. Not as concerned with the sound so much. I will probably use my ultraflos and not the turbo muffler it comes with. Mostly concerned with fitment and quality of pipe. Thanks mikz
