Alright, I've got a 3" Trailmaster Body Lift sitting in a box ready and raring to go on the Blazer.
Yeah, two problems though.
1. I lost the instructions. :( So if anyone could point me to a tutorial or something for installing it onto an '87 S-10 Blazer with a 2.8 and a manual tranny that'd be awesome. ;)
2. I need new body mounts. Now, no huge issue with this, but I have been wondering, especially since I lost the instructions... do the blocks for the body lift replace the top part of the body mount or do they go between it or something similar?
Thanks.
I have the instructions for the Performance Accesories Body lift... I don't know if they would be similar, but I would imagine that they are.
I believe that the lift blocks sit on top of the body mounts, so you'll probably need to replace those.

The lift does sit on top of the body mount, If you need to replace your body mounts you should look in to using poly ones. Most of the time they are cheaper than all new rubber ones. With a three inch body lif you will need to modify some things,
The gas tank filler neck will need to be made longer
The Fan shroud will need to be clearenced
The raditior hoses might need to be modifyied
The transfer case linkage will have to be adjusted along with the, parking break cable
You also might want to raise your bumpers to keep the stock look so you don't have huge gaps betweent the body and the bumper

Just curious, what about your steering?

I know about those. Most of the stuff came with the kit. Thanks anyway though.
I won't need to do anything if I'm putting an e-fan in it, do I?
@ Tink: If you could scan them or something that'd be awesome. Since I'm a dunce and lost mine. :|
Main thing I need help with though is the shifters... I'm sure I can manage the rest without instructions.

Extend the shaft.
I actually believe mine is a two part though, so I won't have to do anything. Have to check tomorrow though.

the steering shaft has a built in slip joint, it is ment for when you a un a accident the shaft will colplase and not act like a speer. The joint justs slips out for a body lift

Actually the E fan would be great... You'll be taking the clutch fan off? That will help with the problems you'll have with the fan shroud.
I'll dig those out and see if I can scan them here at work...
