I need help! I need to find out what type of 4.3L I have in my 1995 GMC Sonoma. Is there a lable or something I can get the info off? Everytime I go to the parts store they ask me if it is this kind or this kind and I have no clue. If you can help me I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you,
Zack

TBI: Throttle Body Injection. This style injection has 2 injectors above the throttle body. Fuel pressure is a carb like 13ish psi.
CPI: Central Port Injection This has a centraly mounted injector that has 6 tubes that lead to popets at the ports. This engine has more power than the tbi's. Fuel pressure is up around 60psi or so.
