Spark Plugs

Hey guys. What kind of spark plugs do ya'll run. I bought some AC Delcos and they keep messing up on me. The gap is .045 per the sticker on the fan shroud but it looks like they keep burning up. Should I gap them to like .050?

im runnin ngk copper core v-powers, there pre-gapped at .060 cause i checked them all before i installed them. Run great for me and i do alot of racing around. The sticker on my fan says .060 though not .045 but my truck is a 98 4.3 4x4. I would try to gap them to .060 and see what happens.

Always gap them at whatever the fan shroud says, unless you are blown, or using nitrous. Your '98 is a little different than his 95.

I understand someone needs help gapping their Bosch +4?'s

I out in those ngk v-powers too.

The '96 and newer trucks have a bigger gap because its a different engine than the '95 and older.

Accel u-groove plugs gapped at 0.060

For sure. I lost fuel economy after a few thousand miles with them.

ZDaniels, Sounds like the truck is running lean. Any codes thrown?
