Has anyone talked to Al about the ext. warranty for the tbi supercharger kits? My one year is about to run out, including everyone else that bought one in the group purchase. Does anyone know how much the ext. warranty is?
i thought it was a 3yr warrenty!
on a side not guys what are u running in the 1/4 mile with a wynjammer blower?
The TBI's are 1 year warranties the SFI (like what you have Finkle) is a 3 year warranty. And the CPI isn't out yet, so not sure what that warranty will be.
I haven't run mine in the 1/4 mile. Someday I will, but my next goal is to get a new dyno run done on it, I think with my fixed programmer I'll see some nice improvements in the numbers...

I have been calling Al like crazy and all I keep getting is the anwsering machine.Left message no response yet.I am wanting to buy certain products off of him and can't get a hold of him.I am gonna try a few more times to see if I can touch base with him.
That's odd, he's usually really good about answering the phone. Have you tried emailing him? Early last week I emailed him to purchase some parts for my S/C, and he was pretty quick with the responses. Though he did seem distracted (kept missing a question I kept asking him in the emails).

I tried Wed-Fri and once on Monday only toi still get the awnsering machine.Im gonna try again tomorrow.I wanna get a TBI boennet through him if he will resale to me.If not AirAid is sending me one for a decent price. But I like the design of the Volants he wa using better than the AirAids.Im fixing my self up a home made RamAir intake system. It's not gonna be ghetto rigged I plan on doing it right to get as much positive pressure on the filter through the intake as possible.Only thing I am lackinh is a good Bonnet.Im using ABS plastic tubing and bends to plumb it were I want it and I am gonna use plexy glass to build a good tigh enclose around the filter.Im not gonna use a round filter either im gonna use a flat panel filter because they seem to have the least resistance when it comes to air pressure.Im gonna use the plexy glass to scoop down to pick up the air.Right at a angle behind the air damn to get a good rush of fresh air.I am also gonna make sure there is no way water or any significant level of moisture can get in.It's not gonna be a big wide opening just one enough to come close to pressurising the encloure. The only way to get a true RamAir system is to get a certain amount of the air pulled in pressurized a slight amount.Once all the fabrication is done im gonna either paint it or use a really dark tinted plexy glass so I can still see inside the enclosure to inspect for possible leaks damage and so on.All of my test fitting is turning out really well and I think it's gonna make a good difference in over all powwer. It really won't come in to effect until I get some speed going to force the air in.No RamAir does.My TA is in reality more of a cold air intake than a RamAir system. They should have use a different location on the hood that gets the most amount of air flow. The SS Camaro's location is a little better. But dyno results show that the RamAir does add a few ponies to the F-bodies so they do make some difference.I also picked up some decent bucket seats out of a early second gen Blazer.Im gonna have them steam cleane before I install them and sell the late model split bench I was gonna install. It's in mint condition so I might try Ebay to sell trhem.Im gonna let them go cheap since I don't have a lot invested in them.I don't wann make a big profit just enough to cover the cost and a little more.
^^^^^Whats with the new guy and his books? :) Sounds good max, I was trying to picture it, but im havin a hard time, you got any pics?

I got the AirAid TBI bonnet today and it is actually pretty nice.It has a nice design to tunnel the air in to the TBI.It also has a split in the air entry hole to feed both sides of the TBI.Here are some pics I took of it.TBI guys I think would like the style of it.
