air/fuel mixture on carb

Which way do you turn the air/fuel mixture valve to increase the fuel? I took it to a smog shop and the leaned it all the way out and now it runs like crap.

Well, if you leaned it out, you did so by turning it clockwise. Turning it cc will richen it up.
