I was hanging out with a friend friday and he had a noise comming from his front tire on his Plymouth Breeze, i told him he should take the wheel and look for something wrong before his trip to his dads house in ohio. that night he went home, took the tire off and the jack slipped the car crushed his skull and killed him. this is a prime example of never ever putting a job before saftey, at least put the tire underneith the frame incase the jack does slip it wont kill you. i have lost a good friend because of overlooking a simple thing. his mother came home from work and found her son dead under his car. he didnt have a father figure like mine that constantly drills safety above all other things in EVERY job that i do. so guys remember this loss of a good friend that i am going through the next time you overlook saftey in anything you do around a car. because i have learned it CAN happen to you! he was only 17 years old.

thanks guys, life is important and can be lost very fast without warning. i just want everybody to remember this next time they are under a truck.
I am often guilty of this, but instead of my head, i put my legs under the frame rails....You never think about it till you hear about it going wrong.

Sorry to hear it. A damn good message as most of us have gotten under poorly supported vehicles.

we all should take this as a learning experience, life is something very important and can be loss due to a freak accident at any time. i found out it was one of his little brothers that found him under the car. this is a sad time in spotsylvania county. and i know all of us have surely learned something and lost a good friend and classmate.

real sorry to hear that man. sparky is right we've all been under poorly supported vehicles i sure have. this tragedy will run through my mind next time i'm under any car on any lift or jack.
my prayers are with you and everyone else in this time of suffering.
This is what was preached in church yesterday.
"On Him, we have set our hope that He will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many." 2 Corinthians 1:10-11
It was a sermon on suffering in the loss of loved ones and tragedies.
