On my little brother has digital gauges on his 93 Limited Edition S10 Blazer. Well the Colant temp/thermostat took a dump and is reading maximum high. My little brother had me replace the water pump and temp sensor right away. It still presisted. He then took it to Firestone who said that the gauges were wrong and that his coolant was at a fine temp. They said they didn't know why the gauges were doing that. Now the gauges for the coolant temp don't read anything at all. Does any one what what this maybe? I would like to get the gauges working for him again.

Reading past high is generally indicative of an open circuit. I would measure the voltage on the coolant sender wire to see if any exists. If not, trace back from there. If voltage is present, hook it back to the sending unit and it should drop. If no voltage drop, then the sending unit is bad.

Thanks I will give that a try. Where is the coolant sending unit located?
in the intake manifold, normally close to the waterneck

Could also be in the cylinder head between the exhaust ports.

Sweet sounds like a pretty easy fix.

the sender for the gagues is in the passanger side head, remove the conector and see if the gague drops to zero, if this is the case i would bet that the sending unit its self is bad

The temp on the gauges no longer reads a temperature at all.
i had the same thing happen, its the sending unit in the head on the passenger side. my gauge read zero also, now it works fine.
