Bad news And Good news

Well my 305 spun a bearing after two days of being installed. Jasper wont take the damn thing back becuz i put in a cam.I should sue the company who makes the plastic oil pressure lines. Good new is The guy i know at jasper felt bad for me so he gave me an 350 for only 150bucks. So now i have to wait until mypops gets room in the shop for me to tear her back down.Only prob is the 350 is short block no heads and many people said dont use the 305 head so what should a do? also it is a tbi motor so can i use and electric in the tank pump to feed the carb or an inline?

What casting # is the 305 head? Might be alright.

i have no clue?? but i got some vortecs laying in my basement would they fit carb intake becus the carb intake has almost straight across hole and the vortec are angled intake

never mind found some good ol' 74 350 heads with the big intake valve so there all at the machine shop getting a check up

yes they will fit but you will have to drill the holes out a little bit for the angle bolts
