no one has posted all day
Had to go to work..then went to the track.
Ran our best run ever in the car. 5.52 in the 1/8th with.....get ready....a 1.12 60' time
I got really drunk last night and lost my ID.
On the weekends, I spend my time wrenching... no time for the computer & internet.

I too, am busy on the weekends.
....a 1.12 60' time
SUHHHHHMOKIN' !!!!!!!!!
I had a 1.48 Sat night. Lost 3rd round with a -.001 R/T. I had 1.200 in the box. Debating between 1.25 and 1.30. Picked 1.25........
Talk about pissed...........
And that was on a .060 light. (our driver normally cuts teens and twentys)
We dialed in our first round at 5.70 and ran a 5.62. So our driver took his car down the track. (alcohol fiberglass body monza) and picked up 3 10ths. We then dialed in 2nd round after a buy in with a 5 60 and then we rippped off that 5.52 That was the fastest that car has ever been
oh yeah...thats 5.52's on a 3200 dollar motor, and we just keep getting faster ;)

Not bad. $4000 motor w/ 3000 lbs results in a 6.7-6.8
'course, the Monte is geared for the 1/4 (4.11 w/29.5 tires).
'prolly gonna go ahead and put the 4.33's back in.

It's an 86 SS. Belongs to a friend of mine. I get the honor of racing it 'til I get the Blazer done. Got some pics at the Cardomain site.

the 80's ss's are one of my dream cars from the decade, I could have got one for 500 bux but it had severe hail damage and a branch had fallen and cracked the aftermarket cowl hood but the interior was mint, but I have a 65 t-bird and at tthe time I was gonna restore it so I didnt get the monte
