I posted this in another thread but I will here to.I think the Sy/Ty trucks are some bad *** trucks and a force to be reckon with.But they are just way to high maintenance and have to many problems for my taste.Look at the Sy/Ty boards in there tech section.They are always flooded with problems.Yeah you have that with any vehicle but the cost on them is always a lot higher than anything else lol.But hey I will say they are some real nice fast as hell little trucks.Thet even by todays standards out perform most performance cars.And a Lightning stock for stock won't hang.Me I would rather have a Buick GNX or a TTA firebird that has the GNX complete drivetrain.The TTA above all because they are even more rare than the Sy/Ty and GNX cars.Of course I am a Fbody nut so I am probably biased lol.

there is a guy around were i live that has a TTA(his toy and its not stock)i tried to race him in my 95 lt1 6sp,I got smoked before we got to the lights.he also has a 02 firehawk!

Having a sy/ty is like having a 'vette. Need a garage and other trans. to own one. Above average mechanical skills also. As much as I've thought about buying one (came close, once) all I have to do is look at the dead grass under my 'vette to remind me how dumb that would be!

These trucks are nightmares.I've grenaded 2 BUILT 700r4's this year with a mildly modded truck.Don't get one unless you got a lil money to spend (ha,like I wish I did!)

But man,when you can pull 0-60 in the 3's all day long between the stoplights,it makes all the blood,sweat and money you've spent seem small.I wouldn't trade mine for anything.

I would love to have a Sy/Ty as well, but I spend enough in maintenance on the Blazer to pick up another money pit. Couldn't haul or tow (for fear of turbo overheating) or four-wheel in it (with THOSE tires? Riiiight), so I'd be stuck with two of them...hmm...that might not be so bad. :D
