They are a small based car that GM designed to compete with the imports that were getting the best fuel mileage.Ive seen a few here and there and a few with body kits that didn't look to bad.The engine is as simple as they come.It's a 1.6 Liter 16-valve E-TEC II DOHC with a whopping 103hp/107tq.Comes with either a 4 speed AT or 5 speed manual getting around 25mpg city 35mpg highway.And with todays gas prices that doesn't sound bad at all.But that's what the car was built for fuel economy only.It was never intended to be a import with a fart can or so on.It was intended to be a well built cheapo car that got good fuel economy and GM accomplished what they were going for.I wouldn't mind having one for a daily driver for back and forth to work.
