Anyone seen this done?

My roommate gave me a good idea the other day, if anone has seen this or has pics, please put them up!

I have a 1st gen, we were driving to work the other day and he suggested I shave the rise in the middle of the hood. I think it would look great. Im thinking about sectioning another hood, then sectioning the center out of another hood and welding it in. I know this is a ton of work, but in the end it would be one of those details that makes people say...hrmmm, i didnt notice that before, ive never seen that. Tell me what you think, and like i said, if youve got pics, put em up!

i always wanted 2 punch holes in the hood like you see on air conditioner vents. they look like gills....it would help with engine cooling and look kewl to. takes a special machine to do it . anybody seen one ?

Yeah louver vents like hot rods. not too many ...like 2 rows over the intake runners.

in my mind i picture a hood similar to a 2nd gen sonoma hood, oh well, i guess we are gonna have to start cutting and see, look for pics in a week or two
