Well guys and girls i have started to tear the truck apart for some much needed power. I started by taking the little 2.2 liter out which if anyone wants i will sell it cheap.http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b53/LowDime/Picture004.jpg This was not as easy as i thought it would be. I hate new vehicles to many wires. But it was just a tug away. But now on to the fun part. The motor that is going back in it is a 327 out of a 69 camaro, i know its a classic car but i didnt take the motor out so dont flame. But its a .030 over 327 with a comp cam xtreme energy cam. The cam is the 246-3 flat tappet, 487 490 lift with a 110 lobe seperation. The heads are 882's off of a 350, with 202/160 valves brand new springs comp double springs, oversized guides and valve neck. the tranny is going to be a 700R4 that tom has donated we are not sure if its anygood yet so we will find out.

i wish i could get a tranny for 50 bucks, im gonna start my own (streetable) V8 Conversion on my daily driver once the ZR2 comes home. keep us posted on how things go.

well i am at a standstill right now the wiring is killing me, but i will take some more pics when i go home, the trans was no good it was destroyed from the front pump back. But i had a good hookup, it got fully rebuilt with servos, a shift kit, 2200-2500 stall, all new internals, and it cost me 700 dollars, for everything parts and all i thought it was a good price. the motor runs great but wont start off of a key right now it starts and runs off of a push button. But i will get some more pics when i get home
