Okay I have 1000 miles on the Silver Bullet project 1997 S10 2dr Blazer and I wanted to say thanks to all here who answered my questions and lent me their expertise and Rat for sure helped me out Big Time!!!!! SO here is how it went down. 4.3 .30 over 9.25 compression,heads clean up mild port w/stock size valves. Went with the Crane hr-204/286-2s-12 cam. Yes it's pretty mild but this is a 4wd heavy slug anyway and I am running the stock PCM. Intake was port matched to the heads. So we drop it in and I already had flowmaster with 2 1/2" out the back and a Fram FIPK Air cleaner set up installed. Plus I got the Under Drive pulley set up as well. While it was apart we put in a lower milage transfer case and changed the transfer as well as both diff's to full syn oil. Also got a set of PowerStop cross drilled Front rotors to put on while it was apart. Plan on going Syn Oil in the motor after 2000 miles (probably Royal Purple, I run it in my Grand National) So Yep I have been having a ROCKIN GOOD TIME playing with all the foreign and full-size suv's THANKS AGAIN
