front swat bar question

will a front sway bar from a 1990 pontiac formula fit a first generation? i can pick one up for abuot 10 to 20 dollars. the one i saw was 1 1/4 diameter.thanks for any help

I'd be using a tape measure for sure. Instinct tells me the Firebird is a bit wider.

Even if it isnt wider, I doubt the shape will be correct. Id be looking for a wrecked ZQ8 or Xtreme to pull the sway bars off of.

I'm sure ebay has at least one for sale.. try s10warehouse for one of his auctions.. he always has something off a zq8 or xtreme. fair prices, too.

I have zq8 front and rear sway bars and they work really well. I got them both from s10warehouse on ebay.
