s10 vs 04 v6 mustang

my neighbor just got a 04 mustang v6 5 speed do you guys think i can take him in my 95 s10 its a 4.3 auto with a new trans but its compleatly stock i would race him in my 87 grand national but thats a garanteed win and id rather beat him in my work truck lol.

so do you think i have a chance.

it should be close... as a standard, he might miss shift. giving you the win.

I'm with that. I think the shifting will kill him. Otherwise, a close race. Just don't spin the tires ;).
