Well, my V8 conversion is underway. Thurs I received a Gen 1 block from summit for about 7 bills. I figure it'll take me about winter time to throw the guts in the motor. I figured at min. $1400 for an Eagle forged crank and H-beam Rods, Speed Pro forged pistons, rings, and bearings. I haven't decided on heads or induction yet, probably another $3000. I picked up the BeCool Rad for the swap and the motor mounts on Sat. I definatly want FI. Question for all you swap vetrans, is it possible to swap in a computer from a 2002 F-body with minor additions to the harness (for the two extra injectors) to keep all my existing harness. My ECM is the same Delphi unit as the LS1 model, just different programming. If I can add wires to the already existing pin-outs on the ECM harness...would it be possible (I think it would work) has anyone tried it?! I have a program to reflash the ECM and change the OS. As far as everything else....headers for a 4wd???...or am I breaking out some tubing and the welder?
