Well tried to leave town to get on the highway and my brake pedal goes to the floor after trying to stop b4 leaving the gas station. Take 2001 s10 zq8 suspension home to check it out and this is what i find. My brake line is getting pinched between the caliper and the steering stopper on the lower control arm at full clock turns. Other zq8s and xtremes might want to check this out.
Well I have been looking for some stainless steel braided brake lines for my 2001 s10 zq8.
I have only found ones for 91-99 from Russell, part #672360.

I have been trying to cross reference part numbers between the years.
So from gm they didn't match.
Mine being: 15158652
and 1998 being: 18032822
Tried napa...(don't know if extact match for my truck)
2001 is: UP 381345

1998 is: UP 380280

The napa hoses are only about a 0.25" difference in length which shouldn't matter I.M.O.
BUT... what about the fittings? Does anyone know if there is a difference in the fittings? If there isn't, I think one can use the Russell hoses for more years then stated for.
