Will changing from a synthetic back to regular hurt the engine?

No it won't. But you may need to change the oil a few times to get all of the synthetic out of the engine.

There is no reason why changing from synthetic oil to conventional oil will hurt the engine. Once you use syn. oil you dont have to stick with it. It has the same properties as conventional oil. If you had to stay with the same oil then they would not have made synthetic blends. Use what you want ,but from a mechanics veiw, stay with the synthetic. Oh yea, you dont need to change oil more to get the synthetic oil out of your engine. It doesn't matter. Stay Jiffy

yea i wouldn't switch to conventional oil man. Just wait until synthetic goes on sale and change the oil yourself. Synthetic is worth the extra penny
