Sounds about right. Just a side note, you will still need a RCA cable if you don't have one. Also hope your not running anything too big. I always run #8 AWG for one amp and #4 AWG+up for 2-3 amps depending on the load size.

im running one 1800 watt mono kenwood amp and 2 kicker L5s. and my HU is a kenwood too if that matters.

I would be running at least 1 - #8AWG to the amplifer if not 2 - #8AWG or 1 - #4AWG for your setup. The HU doesn't really matter if your using the stock radio power wire and if you are running split off your amp power it probably only draws 10 - 15amps, which is minimal when running the correct(80% load) size power wire for your amplifier.

I need all the specs of your components to size it somewhat properly.
Product id/model # helps too. Like this for the subs.

Product ID: KK10L5 Category: Kicker L5 Subwoofers
Kicker Solo-Baric L5 S10L5 Subwoofer
Description: Kicker Solo-Baric L5 10" Dual 2/4-ohm Voice Coil Subwoofer Dual 4-ohm voice coils • copolymer cone • rubber surround • 50-450W RMS total power range • 24-100 Hz frequency response • square design

Whats the amplifer's specs if this is correct for your subwoofers?

AWG= american wire guage...small the # the bigger the wire is.

Referenced from the amplifer:
Power side:
1 - #4AWG wire from the +terminal of the battery with inline fuse some where in the engine bay of ez access to the +termianl of the amp

Ground: 1 - #4AWG wire from the -terminal of the amp to bare metal of the body or frame(scrape paint away depending on install) secured by a screw or bolt

1 set of RCA cables from the H/U sub output to left and right input of the amp
1 - #20-14AWG wire from the H/U remote wire to the remote signal terminal of the amp

Output to subs:
#16AWG if shorter then 6' if longer which it shouldn't be, go to #14 or #12.
Left positive and negative respectifully to the sub
same with the right.

NOTE: Some ppl use compression(crimp) connectors on the ends of the wire to and from the amp and at the battery and ground ends. This is up to you. Personally i use them at the battery and ground always and at the amp if they make the install ezr cause sometimes the wire is to big to fit under the terminal. This is mostly applied for the power side of the amp.

I believe if you read the links i provided that it should make it ezr and the rest is self explanatory. It is always better to oversize your wire and under size your fuse. I would start with an 80amp fuse but you might need 100amp fuse as per what your amp is using at full power and volume.

basically you need to get a 4 gauge wiring kit and follow the instructions in the kit. I would recommend that you use the 4 gauge just to be safe.
