need help and some advice

looking for 5speed manual trans that will bolt up to a 2.8 v-6 for my 93 s-10 or would it be better to swap in a 4.3 v-6 but will i have to change my computer ? or what would i have to do to swap out my motor so that i can fuel injection. all tips and advice will be greatly appreciated.

I got a 5 speed out of a 88 2.8 you can have if you come get it! Was dropping a 350 in it but a guy talked me out of the truck so I sold it. 10 miles from the big city of Jesup, Ga.

not a problem. I got few left over parts off the 2.8 not sure what all I got but your more than welcome to them if you want to come down and get them just cost you price of gas. I'll go look tomorrow and see what I have. I don't think I have the bell housing for the tranny, I'm pretty sure I left it attached to the block and it went with the truck. I do know I got the bed, tranny, alternator,TBI, and a 2 piece drive shaft.starter, p/s pump,all the pulleys and all the mounting brackets. You may want to post on the boards and see if the tranny will trade out with the 93 ?


I live about 10 miles west (north)of Jesup..it's on the coast and about 50 miles from Brunswick. For you it'll be a lil haul ,I75 from Atlanta to Macon then I16 to Dubiln US 441 to Macrae US341 to here. I can see 341 from living room window.

there are not to many people like you most people could care less if i see somebody on the side of the road i stop no matter what cause i know how it is to be broke down on the side of the road and nobody help you
